Auto Savage ("we", "us", or "the app") is a vehicle reliability inspection and appraisal tool. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
When you analyze a vehicle, the year, make, and model (and any configuration details you provide) are sent to an AI language model that searches the internet for real owner complaints, forum posts, and repair data to produce your reliability report. Recalls information is retrieved from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) public database. Technical service bulletins are researched via the same AI web-search process.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use Google AdMob to display ads in the app. AdMob may collect the advertising ID assigned to your device, your IP address, and information about how you interact with ads (such as impressions, clicks, and app activity) to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. This data may be shared with Google and used for analytics and advertising purposes. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of interest-based ads in your device's privacy settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
Your reports remain stored in your account until you delete them or delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which removes your account and associated report data. You can also request deletion through our account deletion page.
Account credentials are stored securely. Access to your reports is scoped to your authenticated account. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Auto Savage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data by editing your profile or deleting your account from the Settings screen. You may also request data deletion by contacting us.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact Base44 support through the app's dashboard.
